Description:

Amaka Passion is looking for experienced Full-time Medical Assistants to join our service!

​

This person will assist in direct patient care under the supervision of a physician.  Accurately obtain patient vitals and documentation of pertinent medical history.  Responsible for daily maintenance of test results, and sample medication logs. Maintain and manage the use of all clinical equipment.  Continual maintenance of clinical and pharmaceutical supply inventory. 

 

Knowledge of  OSHA, HAZMAT, and Joint Commission safety and quality standards.  Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to travel to satellite offices.  Administrative responsibilities will include but not limited to appointment scheduling, answering of phones, completing prescription requests, initiating authorizations/referrals, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Graduate

• MA Certificate required

• Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant highly preferred
